Zusammenfassung
Bei einer jungen Patientin trat das erste Mal eine beidseitige Uveitis posterior wenige
Tage nach der zweiten Hepatitis-B-Impfung auf. Nach Therapie mit Steroiden lokal und
systemisch ging das Entzündungsbild zurück. Etwa zwei Wochen später, wenige Tage nach
der dritten Impfung, flackerte die Uveitis leicht auf. Dies ist unseres Wissens das
erste Mal, dass eine Uveitis mit einer Hepatitis-B-Impfung in Zusammenhang gebracht
wird.
Summary
A 21-year-old woman presented with symptoms of a posterior uveitis in both eyes for
the first time some days after a second hepatitis-B vaccination. Following local and
systemic steroid therapy the inflammation decreased. Two weeks after the steroid therapy
was discontinued and some days after the third vaccination there was a slight recurrence
of the uveitis. To our knowledge this is the first time a connection between hepatitis-B
vaccination and uveitis has been postulated.
